Saharan Sunset, 1 April 2021

A grey sky gave way to heavy rain, which has been on and off all day. However, the rain stopped briefly for a spectacular sunset, in a dusty yellow sky. The full rainbow 🌈 opposite the sunset was muted by the dust in the air. Hopefully, by tomorrow the dust will be (literally) washed away.

Prominent rays were visible from the rising sun this morning, thanks to the Saharan dust which is coating the whole country (no pun intended).
