Rising red moon, 19 October 2021

After a hot day a deep red full moon rose over the distant mountains. 

A big fire in Portugal. This will be visible from space…

The view from Carris. This was taken about one hour ago, and has been burning since mid morning. It it in the 30s here at the moment, not a good temperature to be fighting fires (not that any temperature is)
