A #ShittyCameraChallenge sunrise, 03 December 2022
After the file error on the first day of the #1990sCameraChallenge and sleeping through the sunrise yesterday, this morning I was determined to catch the sunrise before the rain returns. Taken with the Sony Mavica MVC-FD81. An ND4 filter was held over the lens to take off the glare of the rising sun.

After a shaky start to the #1990sCameraChallenge when my glorious sunrise ended up as a ‘file error’ I wanted to see how the Sony Mavica MVC-FD81 would perform with a sunset. Not too shabby, I have to say.

Practising for the #ShittyCamaraChallenge #1990sCameraChallenge I thought it might be nice to see whether I could stitch together a couple of images from the Sony Mavica. Images were straight out of the camera and stitched together with the phone app Bimostitch.

Although it was launched in 1998, the same year as the MVC-FD51, it features an enhanced resolution of 1MP and a faster floppy disk drive than its predecessor. Like the MVC-FD51 it was fun to use.
