Lo-Fi panoramas with the Sony Mavica MVC-FD81, 09 November 2022

Practising for the #ShittyCamaraChallenge #1990sCameraChallenge I thought it might be nice to see whether I could stitch together a couple of images from the Sony Mavica.  Images were straight out of the camera and stitched together with the phone app Bimostitch.

As well as the MVC-FD51 for the #ShittyCamaraChallenge #1990sCameraChallenge I now have an MVC-FD81. Although it was launched in 1998, the same year as the MVC-FD51, it features an enhanced resolution of 1MP and a faster floppy disk drive than its predecessor. Like the MVC-FD51 it was fun to use. Running from 01 December 2022 to 31 January 2023, the latest #ShittyCameraChallenge will feature cameras from the 1990s. I already have two analogue cameras to use in the challenge, a Canon Epoca 135 and a Samsung Fino 35s point and shoot, but the 90s were when digital cameras started to appear in the consumer marketplace
