I had not intended to take these icy abstracts, but the bubbles were just so … enticing.
Although winter is fast approaching there are still butterflies out pollinating the late autumn blooms.

Off to collect our lunch I passed these cabbages by the side of the road (here people grow cabbages everywhere all year around) and as it had been raining they were covered in droplets, like little diamonds.
Every year on Dia da Morte, it’s customary to leave flowers and light candles in reflection. We were lucky enough to be given these beautiful blooms.

These unusual flowers were blooming on a tree behind the railway station in Aveiro.
This dragonfly probably flew into the shade accidentally. Fortunately we were able to encourage it back into the sunshine.
