It was such a lovely day to go out for some urban Infrared photography around Carris.
After weeks of cloudless skies, this morning we awoke to a sky full of wispy cirrus clouds. It was the perfect weather to take out the full spectrum Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ8 and the Urth 720nm Infrared filter, on our daily walk to the beach. http://keithdevereux.blogspot.com/2022/08/a-trip-through-woods-23-august-2022.html
A recent Twitter poll was asking about street photography, which encouraged me to get out in Fetais with the full-spectrum Lumix and the Urth IR filter. Now, where’s that street again? http://keithdevereux.blogspot.com/2022/08/street-photography-in-only-street-in.html
I took a walk around Fetais just to see what it looks like with the full-spectrum Lumix. http://keithdevereux.blogspot.com/2022/08/a-little-bit-of-pole-arity-and-walk.html
Of course, although I went full-spectrum the plan was always to take some infrared photographs with the Lumix DMC-TZ8 and the Urth IR filter. http://keithdevereux.blogspot.com/2022/08/revisiting-some-old-favourites-under.html
After a mixed start the sun came out and I took the chance to pop out to revisit a few places in Fetais near Meco with the full-spectrum Lumix and the Urth IR filter. Unfortunately, as soon as I went out the clouds rolled in leaving a hazy and cloudy day. Still, I persisted andContinue reading “When a plan doesn’t quite come together, 08 August 2022”
After a cloudy start the sun eventually cleared to leave a decently sunny day. So it was a chance to pop out to explore Meco with the full-spectrum Lumix and the Urth IR filter. http://keithdevereux.blogspot.com/2022/08/urban-infrared-photography-in-meco-04.html
After a few frustrating days, the wind died down and my plan to take the full spectrum Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ8 and the Urth 720nm Infrared filter to the beach was a possibility. Thankfully, the early afternoon sun made the trees glow in the sunlight and the photographs of our walk to the beach exceeded myContinue reading “Finally the wind died down, 30 July 2022”
The original plan was to take the full spectrum Lumix and the Urth 720nm Infrared filter to the beach, but it was so windy I didn’t want to take any risks with the camera, I’ve already cleaned out one large grain of sand from the sensor and I didn’t want to go through that experienceContinue reading “Late afternoon in the woods, 26 July 2022”
It was a lovely sunny day, and a chance to ‘test drive’ my new Urth IR filter.
Out with the full-spectrum Lumix and the Olympus Pen for some infrared and fisheye appreciation of electricity poles.
It’s shopping day, but it’s also the first opportunity for some urban Infrared photography with the Urth 720nm Infrared filter.
Waiting in a car park in Gaia. There was little else to do apart from bringing out the Olympus Pen E-PL1 and the Lomography Experimental Lens Kit and the full spectrum Lumix DMC-TZ8 for some industrial infrared.
Out for some urban Infrared photography around Aveiro, Costa Nova and Barra. Using the modified Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ8 and a 720nm Infrared filter.
Taking my new Lomo LC-A out for a test drive. Of course, it was also an excuse for some Infrared photography around the nearby woodlands using the modified Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ8 and a 720nm Infrared filter.
Between rainstorms I took the opportunity to take some rubbish to the bin (here there are large communal bins rather than individual bins for each house) and noticed clouds behind the neighbours’ orchard. I grabbed a quick photo on my phone but just knew it would be a treat in infrared. I took a fewContinue reading “Infrared cloudscapes, 04 June 2022”
