It’s a day of lovely wispy clouds today, but unusually these are almost perfectly straight lines, which I have never seen before.  With the sun behind such a hazy sky, it was almost inevitable that there was also a large halo around the sun, which was quite spectacular.

After a busy day it was great to relax with a cold beer and a quite spectacular sunset. If you’re careful you can see the nearly full moon rising as the sun sets.
