Not much sun, but bugs have to eat …
The sun came out today, so we pulled out the garden furniture. We soon had a little visitor.
Welcome to #FlyDay #fliesarebeautiful This wasp was sluggishly crawling across the pavement in the midday sun. Normally I wouldn’t get near it, but the weather was still cold, so he was not very active.
Out for a walk and this little beast caught my eye.
Out for a walk in the woods, but I had to stop for a while to say hallo to this beauty.
This dragonfly probably flew into the shade accidentally. Fortunately we were able to encourage it back into the sunshine.
For the past few days a grasshopper has been resting on our patio. Today there were two.
Out for a walk a dragonfly alighted on a nearby tree to take a brief rest. How could I resist?
Nice but windy day for a walk. Concentrating on spring flowers providing a nice lunch for a variety of bugs and flies (and one magnificent butterfly).
