The final part of the restoration of the Brownie N°2 camera was painting the bodywork. Using black enamel paint and a fine brush paint was applied around the edges of the door and on the viewfinder and around the lens on the front plate.

After a couple of days drying the viewfinder glass and the mirror were glued back into place with contact cement.

Once thoroughly dried, and the glue has set, the final step will be to run a roll of film through the camera and see what images we might get. With a shutter speed of around 1/30s I am certainly going to fix the camera to a tripod before making some photographs.
