Vintage Street Art in the aldeia do Meco, 24 August 2021

The aldeia do Meco is filled with some really old street art. Along the boundary of the village is a wall that over the years has been used by a variety of artists.

Some of this might justifiably be described as ‘vintage’, and contains early versions of the ‘classic graffiti writing so popular in the late 90s, early 2000s. In some instances the sun has weathered the paint to near invisibility.

There’s also more work by Dalaiama; it would be interesting to contact him and see when he was last here.

For more examples from this wall, see the link here.
