Thinking about it, it wasn’t a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. There was the video package, and then the widescreen video, and then the remastered films (with extra CGI) and then the last chance to get the widescreen video, and then the laserdisc package, and then the DVD, and the DVD Trilogy box set, and then they became Episodes IV to VI and the prequels came out, and then there was the chance to see the widescreen remastered films after the prequels, and then the reissued DVDs and then the Blu Rays… There are probably a whole list of other once-in-a-lifetime opportunities missed off as well…
